Is it true that all Caucasian Americans living in America wears shoes into their houses?

I just moved to California and am curious about this. What about the other races such as the Asian Americans? Do they practice this too?

Umm everyone does. I am not sure why Asians dont. i mean sometimes white/black/whatever race take off their shoes so they dont get thier carpets or floors dirty but theres no other reason for us not to. We dont consider it a practice, we just do it subconciously! Hope this helps.
Reply:Keep in mind, we can also vacuum and mop our floors to keep them clean so it%26#039;s not a big deal to wear shoes in the house. Report It

Reply:what are you talking about?
Reply:I usually take my shoes off when I%26#039;m home because it%26#039;s more comfortable. But if someone wears shoes in my home (as long as they aren%26#039;t covered in mud) I%26#039;m fine with it.
Reply:Not all. We are a kick our shoes off at the door family. We don%26#039;t, however, expect our guest to do so.

My sisters family members also remove their shoes upon entering.
Reply:Most Americans dont take their shoes off beforethey enter home.
Reply:No. Everytime I go to my two white friends%26#039; house they always ask me to take off my shoes so the floor doesn%26#039;t get dirty. I always take my shoes off in my own house too so the floor doesn%26#039;t get dirty. I think most people just take off their shoes in the house, it%26#039;s nothing about race.
Reply:I don%26#039;t wear shoes unless I have to. That%26#039;s inside and outside (in my own yard).
