Best running shoe?

I work at a specialty running store in California so I know that there is not one shoe that works for everyone. I just want to know what your favorite shoe and/or brand is and why.

I run in (Asics) DS Trainers, (Nike) Vomero, (New Balance) 1061 and I race in (Adidas) Adizero.

I have high arced feet and all these shoes work for me.

Best running shoe?
I worked in a running specialty shop as well. my favorite brand of running shoes to train in are brooks. The adrenilene is what I wear now. I like the older version better. it feels better than the mogo version. for track meets I like nike shoes because they seem to the be the lightest. To be completly honest I dont care what type of spikes im running in at track meets as long as my feet can move fast. btw...i have normal arches (a little bit flat) and i overpronate so i need orthodics to put in my training shoes. ive had a bad experience with nike training shoes and Ill never train in nike shoes again. they jus messed my knees up.
Reply:I have always run in the Nike Air Zoom Elites... ever since I was 11... I%26#039;m only 14 now. Recently I switched to the Asics Gel 2120%26#039;s, and I wanted to kill myself they were so heavy, even though they were apparently 20% lighter than the old version. My god I could barely pick my feet off the ground.

So I ditched those and got a pair of the Zoom Elite 3%26#039;s and they just feel amazing... like I%26#039;m running on clouds. They%26#039;re very lightweight, yet still supportive enough to be a training shoe. I also have really skinny feet, and the Elite%26#039;s fit snugly, which I didn%26#039;t get from the Asics

I hate it when people say that Nike%26#039;s are bad because they%26#039;re sole focus isn%26#039;t on running (they make shoes for other sports as well) which is just stupid. They started out as a running company and their shoes are still second to none technologically speaking.
Reply:Asics there not the best looking shoes but they do the buisiness.
Reply:asics
Reply:Adidas 1 one there´s no more other running shoes are lame compared to Adidas 1 one
Reply:jordans
Reply:I mostly wear Asics, but I%26#039;ve worn Mizuno, Nike and New Balance before and they%26#039;re all fine. I don%26#039;t like shoes with too much comfort in them.

I would like to try out the Nike Free just for fun.
Reply:if all those shoes work for you wear those shoes.
Reply:The only shoes I have ever owned are brooks trainers. They work great.
