Wedding reception games?

First off I am going to say that I dont need your approval to have a game so if you are going to tell me you dont think games belong at a reception keep your opinion to yourself....we play games at receptions in our families, I dont care if you dont think I should......ok aside from that my sister is getting married in 2 weeks and i need help planning a game.....i was thinking of the game where the bride and groom sit back to back and have one of their shoes and one of the others shoes and you ask them questions like who dated more and they have to raise the shoe that they think fits but i dont really know any questions.......i want a game that has to do with the bride and groom not just a relay race or something like that.....any help would be appreciated, all criticism is not appreciated....

thanks in advance

Wedding reception games?
How about quizing the bride and the groom about little things like "What's Greg's favorite color?" or "What's Karen's degree in?" You will have to ask them the question (about themselves) before the wedding. You could even get the audience involved like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and give the couple life lines.
Reply:I've heard of games where the groom has to identify the bride's legs (by feeling a bunch of different people's legs) %26amp; vice versa - or where they have to be able to identify each other's feet or hands - stuff like that.

I'd be careful with the questions - you could end up bringing up something unintentionally - or sharing too much information with the guests.
Reply:your plan is ok too..on our wedding trivia questions about me and my hubby's relationship before the wedding were asked. there were 4 choices for each question. guests have to line up on the letter that represents their answer. guests who lined on the wrong letter gets disqualified for the next question. the last remaining person wins the game. the number of questions asked depends on how knowledgeable the guests are about the bride and groom! ;-). tip: to make it more fun, the choices for the answers should be hilariously stated.

another was "dress the bride". not much to do with bride and groom, but still lotsa fun. for every table a rep is chosen to be the bride (usually having males to be the bride is so much more fun!). other members from the table dress up the rep using only either paper towel, or japanese paper. they are given say 5 mins to dress up their bride. after that, the bride and groom judges the "prettiest" bride (or maybe the "bride" whose dress represents closest to things related to the bride and groom).

good luck, and i hope you'll all enjoy in your sister's wedding! ;-)
