Is Martin Brundle a total prat with his grid walk?

If I was an F1 driver I would tell him to absolutely piss off if he stuck his stupid microphone in my face right before the race. Why doesn't he show some respect and stop hassling them, especially as the drivers never say anything memorable or interesting even if they do agree to talk to him, which less and less do. And he keeps banging on about how Lewis Hamilton won't talk to him because he doesn't like to be distracted before a race - then shut up respect his wishes and stop banging on about it. If I was in Lewis's shoes I'd tell Brundle to stick his microphone up his stupid fat ****. God, he's even worse as a commentator and interviewer than he was as a driver, and he was crap at that!

agree, u dont see sue barker, walk onto centre court as federer and nadal warm up to ask them somthing,it dont happen in any other sport, that i can think of, y formula 1 one of the most dangerous sports there is, plenty of time to talk to them after race, as you say the ones who talk to him dont say nothing of interest, then y wood they, tell the other teams ther strategy. as for him on about lewis all time, well thats britain for you, commentators, media the public cant help but put all the pressure in the world on there shoulders, thats y our british talent usually fail, then all turn on them quicker than you can read this.
Reply:i agree

Reply:yes i agree with you nobody wants to talk to the prat
Reply:Personally I think that the grid-walk is one of the highlights of ITV's pre-race build-up. True enough, none of the drivers are going to say anything revealing about their strategy, but it gives us fans watching on television a better insight into the world of Formula One and the environment on the grid. Even if you're not interested in what Brundle is saying, it's still interesting to see the teams at work in the background in their preparation for the race.

Just another point about today's grid-walk, we all saw Murray Walker on the grid - and I was disappointed that Brundle didn't try and have a word with him.
Reply:whoa chill out man you're only watchin it on tele.

i agree with what you're sayin but he's doin what he gets paid an enormous amount of money for
Reply:Yes he is annoying he thinks he has the right to butt in when other people are interviewing teams and pushes people out of his way to get to drivers I tend to turn over while he is on the grid.
