High heels on grass?

Does anyone else have problems keeping their high heels on their feet when walking on grass. I was at the races last week and must have walked out of my shoes a dozen times

High heels on grass?
I hate that! The grass is so soft and the weigh that your heel holds makes it sink till it is as flat as the grass. It also makes your shoe dirty. A little tip: don't wear heels after a rain in the grass the ground is still way to soft and gross and will make your heel diqusting.Try wearing wedges thats what they were made for. The are cute too. But if you must wear high heels try buying those clips, they don't look too bad. But try learning to walk on your toes or on a sidewalk if you are like at a park or something. If you are at like a family picnic wear flats or clogs. Clogs are cute and won't get stuck. The bigger heal the better. Good luck!
Reply:spikes are a big no no.maybe next time wear wedges or something
Reply:Clarks sell little clip on plates for your heels that spread the load and stop you sinking, they`re called Nonbogs and are only £2.99 a pair.
Reply:You must learn to walk on your tiptoes!
Reply:I saw something about this on tv. you can buy little see through plastic thingies that go on the bottom of your heels. They slip up over the end of the heel and have a small flat plate underneath. think snow shoes. good for garden parties weddings etc they said and they worked. maybe someone can say who sells them or what they are called.
Reply:I have this problem when i go to the races, it is so annoying, I tend to walk on my toes alot if i can, I would say it is easier to wear flats but they dont look as nice as heels do they. Wedges are quiet good, i wore those the last time i went and found it much easier to walk. but hopefully now it is getting warmer the ground will be drier so they wont get stuck as much in the ground.
Reply:yes! i have the same problem....when I go to school with heels on, i have trouble walking from the parking lot to the building, because in between is just grass. My heels tend to get into the soil, which dirties my shoes, plus making it harder for me to walk. But i anyways wear high heels just because fashion matters a lot to me! (=
Reply:My girlfriend had the same problem. Every few steps and she would walk out of a shoe. I must admit that I found it rather attractive. She looked so vulnerable and feminine. And I felt rather good helping her to recover her shoe.
Reply:Tell me about it! I have to stop every other minute and fix them. To make them tighter I put a couple tissues in the toe and it helped a little.
Reply:Aways wear heels with ankle straps when walking on grass. I do and i never loose a shoe.
Reply:Yes - not an atrractive look is it!!! I always try and wear thicker heels to avoid the problem!!!
Reply:Try wealing wedges next time. Stillettoes pierce the mud and get stuck while your walking, bit like pavement cracks grrrrrrr.
Reply:Yes itz absolutely horrible i broke a heel doing that once. I finally decided on flats.
Reply:Dont have that problem im tall enough without heels so i wear flats.
Reply:so wear either flats or wedges - it is why wedges were invented after all!!
Reply:my match stick heels go into the ground all da time but the thicker the heel the better
Reply:ya, because the grass is so soft, its much harder to walk!!
Reply:I was once caught on a last minute function and have forgotten to change my high heels so when i have to walk, i sort of lifted the back so the highs won't get caught in the grass. It was so tiring.
Reply:thats what wedges were invented for girl. Garden parties and horse racing.
