I am not black, however, I believe all races are essentially the same in their core humanity, therefore, I try to imagine myself in the same shoes. Could I ever join a religion in which the very founding prophet owned and preferred to own members of my race? F*** no!





All historians no that Muslims traded more blacks into slavery than all other cultures or people combined. Muslims traded black slaves long before trans-Atlantic slave routes through their sub-Saharan trade routes. Then, when trans Atlantic trade routes emerged, it was rare indeed if any black slave didnt pass once through the hands of a Muslim. Of course, the Islamic sub saharan trade route continues today

ISLAM teaches that there is no difference between the slave and the free man, an Arab or non-Arab, a white or a black man, and in spiritual matters there is no difference between a man and a woman. We are all EQUAL in front of the LORD ALMIGHTY!!





Slavery was an institution that already existed way before our Prophet was born. He inherited the problem of slavery.





ISLAM alone requires that you free slaves for committing sins. If you miss a fast in Ramadan, you must free a slave. We have one billion Muslims and there are thirty fasts in Each month of Ramadan. That is an opportunity for thirty billion slaves to be freed EVERY SINGLE YEAR!!





I am not even talking about the other sins for which you free a slave. if you break an oath you free a slave, if you get some unexpected money, you free a slave as thanksgiving to the LORD ALMIGHTY.





What religion other than ISLAM makes freeing slaves for sin a requirement?

The Prophet had slaves to show how to treat them. HIs slaves were better off than him. They ate better than him, did less work than him and wore better clothes than him. He had the slaves to show how to treat them as human beings, while he instituted laws to free them. THINK, what is better than that.





When Abraham Lincoln announced the Emancipation Prcolamation, he had to cause the killing of 600,000 thousand men in the Civil War. YET to this day the black man hates the white man in America.





In contrast the Prophet of Islam used wisdom, logic and human nature to fight the evil that is slavery and freed mankind from its clutches in subtle and effective ways without confronting it directly. If you see the wisdom of his actions with the limitations of his resources, you will marvel at the man and his intelligence and resourcefulness to bring human beings on an equal platform across the divides of races, nations, sex and language.





THINK if you can. See if you can. Until then, it would be better if you would hold your tongue, so you are not punished by the JUST ONE when it is time for spreading misinformation and lies.

If what you're saying is true and the Muslims really did have all of those black slaves, of course the slaves were forced to convert to the Islamic faith..just like the Africans were sometimes forced into the Christian faith. We know for a fact that the founding fathers of the United States had slaves. It was an acceptable practice in those days.





However, being enlightened now, as we are, we can see the injustice in ANY form of slave labor or calling another human being a piece of property.

The slaves were bought in the old days by rich muslims and freed them because it was of high reward. One of the most noble companions of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) was black, named Bilal. It was the British and other Europeans who captured Africans and made them slaves and started the whole concept again. Who brought the African American race into the United States?

If that is beyond your means, fast for three days. That is the expiation for the oaths ye have sworn. But keep to your oaths. Thus doth Allah make clear to you His signs, that ye may be grateful.





Slavery was one of many horrible cultural practices of the time that the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, denounced!
